Drop & Count Clerk General Definition:
Cash tickets and chips presented by patrons while maintaining a balanced bank; provide service to internal and external guests.
Responsible for collecting all bill acceptors from electronic gaming machines and money canisters from Table Games.
Perform initial count and verification of collected monies from electronic gaming machines and turn these funds over to the vault.
Responsible for collecting and transferring all monies from gaming machines, chips and monies from all table games.
Also responsible for all drops and fills of all kiosk machines and all electronic gaming, table games and all emergency drops.

N/A Essential Job Functions:
Count money collected for recording to ensure amounts are documented.
Open bill acceptors in the secured Soft Count room from electronic games and places the currency and ticket in ticket outs into the currency counter.
Complete appropriate documentation through the Bally's system to be sent to Accounting and delivers monies to vault area.
Take currency and ticket in ticket out received from the kiosks and runs through the currency counter in order to separate the bill by denomination and send 1st count totals to accounting.
Remove canisters from Blackjack, Poker, and Electronic Game bill acceptors and place them on a secured cart to transport them to the secured Soft Count Room for initial count and verification.
Remove canisters from gaming machines and tables and transport collected canisters to secured soft count room.
Complete appropriate documentation daily of shift pulled activity.
Adherence to following through on facility policies and standards, ensuring that the department is in compliance at all times.
Responsible for radio communications from the team to management offices during pull rounds.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Training and
Experience:
One year banking and/or cash handling experience is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, possess good manual dexterity, and hand/eye coordination, but these requirements are based on needs of facility and staffing.
Must be ability to communicate with other team members, departments, guest and management Must be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately without direct supervision Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties Ability to operate currency and coin counters, general knowledge of computer operating software, general knowledge of cash register operations, general knowledge of accounting principles Must be able to push, pull and lift fifty (50) pounds Must be team oriented Must have the ability to understand written and oral communication Must possess excellent customer service skills Must be able to work flexible schedule including; evenings, weekends, holidays and promotional events Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environment Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions Quick Apply.
