Summary: Supports the Shipping Supervisor and provides leadership and training to the shipping department personnel. This position is responsible for providing the operational and transportation support to all aspects of High Plains Bioenergy Plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following : Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.
Record, report and insure daily balances of received feedstock and other materials, and shipped finish products.
Data entry for Agris, AS400 and complete manual forms as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment by observing all local, state and federal regulations regarding health, safety and the environment. This includes all established plant and lab safety practices to ensure good housekeeping/hygiene practices are maintained.
Follow all established safety procedures for safe operation of equipment and handling of chemicals.
Thorough understanding of the BQ - 9000 program, and insure all policies and procedures are followed.
Train new hires on the receiving of incoming and outgoing materials, products, or supplies.
Transfers Raw materials from delivery vehicles and transfers to designated storage tanks according to company SOPs wearing proper PPE. Transfers by-product materials to delivery vehicles.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective Shipping and Receiving of goods.
Cover for material handler, shipping / receiving personnel as needed.
Perform maintenance of Shipping.Receiving equipment and keep maintenance records as directed.
Assist with collecting samples of product shipped and received as directed.
May be required to work at remote locations. i.e. Turpin terminal.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience: A diploma or certificate of completion from a Trade School and/or High School or GED.
COMMUNCIATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret in the English language correspondence, general business reports, professional journals, technical procedures or reports. Ability to write clear, accurate, concise reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Supervisors.
REASONING ABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to make decisions on routine matters. Ability to define and solve practical problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply mathematical formulas to practical situations. Good organizational and writing skills necessary to track and document QMS and Operating Policies.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current valid driver license and an acceptable MVR. Required to operatea Forklift, Bobcat, Utility Vehicle or Pick up Truck or other forms of delivery for moving materials.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to move from place to place to all areas of production. Must be able to climb ladders or platforms. Must be able to wear all safety and production related equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment varies from an office, Plant production and outside climate conditions, based on the situation. Noise level varies upon which area of production employee is working in.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Occasionally, overtime or changes in schedule will be required as special circumstance arise. Must be able to work flexible schedule as necessary.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
