Summary:
Responsible for providing a safe and secure work environment for all Seaboard personnel
and company property.

Security Manager
Duties/Responsibilities/
Essential Functions:
Control all entrance and exit points through the plant. Recover company property for re-issue.
Perform internal and external security rounds. Perform reefer and trailer inbound inspections,
seal verifications, operate truck scales, verify temperature requirements, and verify bill of lading.
Provide written security reports on any incident occurring and a written daily log. Assist local law
enforcement agencies. Conduct vehicle and locker inspections. Transport injured employees
to medical facilities.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Prior security guard experience is not required but preferred. Individual must be able to read, write,
and have a comprehension of basic math skills. Requires the ability to write concise and effective
reports. Oral communication skills should be effective to all level of employees. Ability to interpret
a variety of instructions given orally, wirtten, or schedule form is essential. Must be able to make
decisions with direct supervision on basic security issues withing established guidelines. Guards have
the authority to stop processes in the event of non-conformance of procedures, safety, policies, and
regulations. Change involving programs, policies, and procedures will require security manager''s
approval. Must be able to move from place to place in all areas in the facility. Must be able to ascend,
descend stairs and climb ladders. Must be able to wear all required safety equipment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
