Service Lead Technician

Act as a safety role model, adhering to all safety standards and procedures
Identify gaps in safety protocol, implement effective risk mitigation, and provide recommendations to management
Demonstrate and promote integrity, strong initiative, and a no-compromise focus on Safety and Quality
Assign and assist technicians in service and troubleshooting tasks to optimize turbine efficiency
Effectively promote strong team environment through assisting team in accomplishing goals
Effectively gather information regarding turbine performance. Diagnose, recommend and implement solutions
Apply cost/benefit decision making regarding changing a component and scheduling work
Planning and tracking of inventory items to ensure accuracy and proper levels to support turbine productivity
Review, approve and provide feedback on technician documentation accuracy and completeness
Conduct safety and quality audits, providing feedback, corrective actions and training
Effectively document and communicate major technical issues to internal and external customers
Interface with customer and respond to customer inquiries
Demonstrate strong customer focus at all times
Assist in planning and organizing daily work plans
Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum one year wind turbine technical experience
Minimum three years experience working with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical machinery
Valid Drivers License
Demonstrated use and understanding of power tools such as hydraulic and/or power torque, and diagnostic tools such as multi meters and meggers
Demonstrated working knowledge of industrial safety practices and protocols
Ability to climb ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and work in confined spaces with diverse environmental conditions
Ability to stand, stoop, kneel and bend for prolonged periods of time
Ability to read, interpret and understand drawings and schematics to validate work activity and ensure that risks are identified and mitigated
Intermediate computer operation skills, familiarity with internet-based program navigation, and ability to generate and interpret computer data
Ability to successfully complete all required Suzlon training, including but not limited to L0, L1 and L2
Ability to travel overnight domestically and/or internationally approximately 10% each year
Seeing/Comprehension - 50 100%

Hand/Finger Dexterity - 50 100%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
